I run WordPress Shopping Cart Reviews, a site dedicated to helping people make decisions when it comes to the many eCommerce plugins available on the popular blogging platform-cum-CMS.  I originally got the idea for such a website from my own travails evaluating all the various options available on the market today.  Naturally, it wasn’t too long before the idea occurred to me to document my experiences so that others may benefit from them, too.  More than that, I plan on enabling visitors to chime in with their own opinions on my site, as a counterbalance to those of my own — for, let me say it here now: I have an intense personality and am passionate about my likes and dislikes!

So there’s going to be a lot of “art” involved in covering even something as mundane as the WordPress shopping cart (and believe me, none of the options are very exciting right now).   But I hope to bring some of what I call “science” to it all, too…at least eventually!  I hope to be able to do rigorous comparisons of every cart software, with handy visuals such as charts and the like.  But for now, at least as of the planned mid-December launch, it will be mostly opinion — “art” — that informs the reviews.  Mea culpa.
